film stuff

Still meddling with my main character designs....this is what they're looking like right now.....i like the idea of her scrambling around the woods in a pair of tights...like she just escaped from school/whatever and didn't have time to change yet....

Color and Design

first assignment for Color and Design (another class I'm auditing from the first year because i'm crazy):
Theme: A Cafeteria Meal
-Must be hand done (oil, pastel, water color, pencil, marker, acrylic, etc.)
-full color
-mailed to the teacher (lame) place something on the outside that relates to the inside

Perspective

Here's the first assignment we had to do for perspective class (which I'm auditing from the first year):
Draw 3 characters that if standing side-by-side they'd be the same size BUT they're in perspective
-2 of the characters we see the entire character
-the third character is in the foreground so we don't see all of him/her
-be sure to draw your eye level and it must be perfectly level....no background





I'd like to color it up eventually but am ridiculously overwhelmed right now with class work... It's my three alien characters...they've been bopping around my sketchbook since last year :) hope to flesh them out more and develop a concrete backstory

this figure drawing class is going to be so epic... our project is going to be Batman through the semester :D :D :D vehicle, location, and character designs omfg

mmmfffff definitely getting back in the groove.. I felt good about what i'd been able to do that day though...for not having done life drawing since winter quarter...my goal is to have my work pinned up in the display cases....so many talented people...it's daunting and mind blowingly inspiring all at the same time o___o must work harder
